I work for the ideal of being an ambassador connecting science and engineering education with industries and businesses to power innovations, creativities, and entrepreneurship in Vietnam for a better future for the next Vietnamese generations.

    I joined the company in April 2020, three months before it was officially established in July 2020, my roles in the company were as follows:

    As a Founding Supporter:

    • Investigating the operational costs for the new branch in
    • Researching the Vietnamese labour market and recruitment channels for the Software Engineer, Project Manager, and Product Owner positions.
    • Making the plan to recruit the first employees for the company.
    • Procuring initial assets for the company and setting up the workplace.
    • Proposing the first employee benefits policies that include monthly allowances, company event budgets, and employee training programs.

    As an Operations Assistant:

    • Developing the general workflows and problems diagnostics and troubleshooting processes.
    • Following up on the company’s operations and raising operational problems.
    • Investigating the root causes of operational problems that occurred and finding solutions.
    • Observing and optimizing the company’s operating overhead.

    As an HR Officer

    • Defining and holding company culture events.
    • Promoting the company branding into the labour market via social networks.
    • Connecting and keeping in contact with universities for future Freshers hiring.

    A system to monitor land subsidence of highways in Australia, in collaboration with Dr Van Dau at Giffith University, Queensland

    Roles: R&D Engineer and Team Leader

    Contributions:

    • Research and development of the system-level solution, IoT gateway, and sensor nodes
    • Built an R&D team. Tasks: Recruitment, training, and management
    • Directed the development of the dedicated hardware to the project and a mesh networking protocol for a LoRa-based wireless sensor network
    • Worked with industry partners to proceed with the prototype production
